These are probably the nicest, most honest people we have ever met. We had some mold in our bathroom and Corey came over to test the area to see if it was a larger issue. He determined it was not and even left us complimentary masks and gloves and gave us recommendations for how to fix it. It is without a doubt that I would call on them again if needed and I would 100% recommend.

Cory and his team are EXTREMELY professional, prompt, and fair! They were wonderful to work with, as they were completely transparent and honest with the work that needed to be performed and kept us posted throughout the entire process. We called them again for an emergency situation, as their work was immaculate the first time around and they showed up promptly and went above and beyond the call of duty. I would highly recommend Restoration 1 to everyone!

The team at Restoration 1 was very professional and thorough in performing mold remediation and removal of water damage in our master bathroom. Cory explained the process clearly during the estimate and provided a very detailed list of work that would be done. Patrick and Darin worked hard the entire 10 hour day removing the water damage and mold. The price was fair and the work was complete very quickly. I hope we do not need Restoration 1's service in the future, but would not hesitate to call them again if we do.

Cory and his team did phenomenal work. Our washer overflowed and water leaked down onto our kitchen ceiling. They reacted quickly to our problem and resolved the issue in a timely manner. He even set the repair contractor up for success by cutting straight lines and and leaving an optimal replacement area. This allowed me to save some money on repairs. I would highly recommend Cory and his guys for any of your restoration needs. He is a complete straight shooter and the most honest business owner I've dealt with.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We go by the xactimate standard for square foot for a baseline. However, we always work with our customer to achieve a fair price while maintaining the highest quality work.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In an emergency situation R1 of Springfield is going do everything to be the Company that the customer is thankful they called. We will explain what steps that will take place, answer questions, problem solve, and work tirelessly to get the job done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
R1 of Springfield is a IICRC certified Firm. Certifications include: Water Restoration Technician, Applied Microbial Remediation Tech, Fire and Smoke Tech, Advanced Structural Drying, Carpet Repair Tech, Carpet Cleaning Tech, Upholstery Cleaning Tech, Health and Safety Tech and Trauma Scene Tech.
